The Cozy difference

• We are a licensed building inspection company, not unlicensed amateurs with mold testing equipment. This allows us to do moisture inspections and discuss how to fix the problems. Unlicensed mold companies are not qualified or allowed to offer solutions. 
• We are unbiased and do not do any repair work. Instead, we focus on what you can do to fix the problem. 

Our mold testing service includes:

• ​Infrared  and moisture meter scan of the interior and exterior of the home looking for areas of high moisture and mold potential.
• Mold consultation

The Complete Moisture Scan includes all of the above services and:

• Moisture testing of all interior walls, near plumbing fixtures and crawlspace and attic wood using a high frequency electromagnetic wave moisture detector that tells us the exact moisture content of wood and drywall even if it's covered by paint and linoleum. The moisture meter can see 1/4" into the material so we can help determine long term moisture problems even if the surface is dry at the time of inspection. Mold Facts

Causes of excessive mold growth:

• Our homes are made out of mold food i.e. wood, paper and drywall. 
• The only thing we can do to keep them from thriving is keep them from not getting enough water. That's it. 

Do you have mold?

• If you see mold then you have it.
• If an area smells musty, you are smelling the excrement of thriving mold even if you can't see them.

Mold and Homeowners Insurance

• Most homeowners insurances do not cover mold unless it's caused from something else covered under your home owners insurance like a burst pipe or flooding. Check with your insurance company to make sure you're covered.
